PULPY FRICTIONS

As part of the Kino challenges, I created two characters of French contract killers that I brought back five times.  The stories were inspired by the imposed themes.  We would have liked to make others but the two actors, SYLVAIN LÉOTARD and GABE BROW, had to return to France.   Who knows?  One day, they may surface again...

The first of the series was themed "HOLIDAY TIME".

The second in the series was themed "SOUND EFFECTS".

We shot a third one but since I don't like it very much, I won't share it.  The theme was "SUBJECTIVE SHOT".

What you should know about this one is that Gabe falls in love with a girl that the two killers have been hired to kill.  So Sylvain gives Gabe a reprieve so that he can date her a few times.  Which brings us to the next episode....

D

The fourth in the series was themed "SPLIT SCREEN" with CAMILLE BRASSEUR as the girl.

The fifth (and last one to date) was themed "ILL AT EASE" with PATRICK RENAUD in the role of the client.

I had written another one :

During a Zoom meeting to discuss their next contract, Gabe's character irritates Sylvain who finds that his colleague is not woke enough.

After the meeting, Sylvain writes online that Gabe is a dirty homophobic Islamophobic transphobic racist and heterocentric mysogynist.

In a few seconds, the whole web is furious at Gabe who is canceled by everyone.

Desperate, Gabe shoots himself in the head.

MUSIC from "PULP FICTION".

Unfortunately, we could not shoot it.  Maybe one day!
